All programs will be available for online registration starting with the Fall 2 Session. Registration begins October 13th!
The Cumberland County YMCA is pleased to announce that we will be providing online registration for all programs, starting with the Fall 2 Session. Registration starts October 13, 2008. Please read the instructions below to get started. If you have any questions that aren't answered in the FAQ please feel free to contact your local branch, phone numbers are listed at the bottom of this page.
Fall registration opens Monday August 18, 2008.
New Users:
The first time you use online registration you will need to create a login account:
- Click the botton below for "Online Registration".
- Click the
button.
- Enter your Last Name, Date of Birth, and Zip Code and click "Find Me".
- If the information you entered matches the information in our database you will be prompted to enter your e-mail address and select a password. Click "Create Account". (If your name is not found in our database, simply contact your local Cumberland County YMCA branch and we will confirm that your information is entered accurately into our database.)
- Once your account is created you will be logged in and can begin to browse programs that are open for registration. (See intstructions below.)

Returning Users:
Once your login account has been created you can begin registering for programs immediatly:
- Click the button below for "Online Registration".
- Click the
button.
- Enter your e-mail address and password to login. (if you forgot your password, click the "Forgot Password" link. Provide your e-mail address and a message will be sent with instructions to reset your password.)
- Once you are signed in you can begin to browse programs that are open for registration. (See intstructions below.)

Browse and Register for Programs:
Once you are signed in you can begin to browse programs that are open for registration:
Our programs are identified by "Program Tags". Tags are keywords used to identify a program or session. They allow you to easily find programs that are available for registration. For example:
Program: Eel Swim Lessons
Possible Tags: Aquatics, Youth Swim Lessons, Eel
Example: A mom at home wants register her 3-year old for swim lessons. If she doesn’t know the name of the program she will probably click a Tag such as “Youth Swim Lessons” or “Aquatics.” There can be multiple tags for each program in order for you to easily identify the program that is right for you.
- Click the "Select Branches / Sites" link to select the branches you would like to view. (Programs run from the Greater Portland YMCA, Casco Bay Regional YMCA, Pineland YMCA, and Otter Pond Day Camp. Other branches that are displayed are for inter-office use only. The easiest way to select your desired branch is to click the link to view None, then check the box next to the branch of your choice, the same for the sites list.)
- Click the Program Tag that relates to the program you are interested in. Each program typically has more than one tag associated with it, so don't be surprised if you see the same program listed under different tags. It's just a way of making it easier for you to find programs that interest you.
- A list of programs associated with that tag will be displayed. If there are many results you can click the
button. If there are other tags associated with the programs displayed, you can use them to narrow your search.
- Click the + to expand the Program Header to view available sessions for that program
- Basic information will be displayed. For more detailed information related to the program, click "Session Details"
link.
- Check the box next to your desired program session and click the
or button, depending on the screen you are viewing.
- All members listed on your record will be displayed. Select the person that will be participating in the program.
- Complete the registration form by entering the requested information and click Next.
- Review the transaction and fees. You have the option to cancel the transaction if you made a mistake. If everything looks good click Next.
- Enter in your credit card information for payment. We accept Visa or Master Card.
- If you would like to register for more programs, click the button to do that. When you have registered for all of your desired programs click Finish to check out.
- Click
to print a receipt for your records.
- A confirmation will be sent to your e-mail address and to the program director. If there are any problems with the registration a director will contact you to resolve it.

Note: Financial assistance and other discounts may be available. If you would like to apply for financial assistance or if you qualify for any other discounts, such as 2nd child discount or system credits, you must register in person at your local branch.
