Always wanted to learn to swim but never had the chance? Could you improve your skills? Here's your opportunity! The beginner class works on acclimation, breathing techniques, strokes, alternative water fitness, and safety. Intermediates work on becoming a stronger swimmer. YMCA swim lessons include all the new research in teaching youth and adults in a safe and fun setting. We offer classes for all abilities and ages. Private lessons are available upon request. More information, dates and schedules

Water Aerobics

Aquafit:
This class offers to adults the healing benefit of water while exercising. Classes run Monday through Friday from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. and Tuesday evenings 6:00 -7:00. Trained instructors lead a dynamic, fun and exciting class for participants. Classes are low impact and emphasis is placed on stretching, jogging, range of motion and muscle development. Free for members.

YMCA Polar Bears

The YMCA Polar Bears are coached by the finest coaching staff of the area. Our swim team focuses on the development of competitive swimming skills, teamwork, leadership and personal goal setting. Ages 6 to 18 years old are welcome. Swimmer must be able to swim one length front crawl and backstroke. Swimmers will be challenged at their ability and develop the stroke skills to make swimming a life-long activity. For more information call (207) 874-1111

Is your child having a birthday soon? Are you looking for a family gathering idea and at a loss in planning what to do? Enjoy an hour in a pool, just you and your group, and an hour in our party room. We provide the space, you bring the party. Fee range depending on party package.
