The YMCA builds strong kids, strong families, and strong communities.
We work to ensure that kids participating in our programs are interacting with peers and positive role models and are having fun while building their self-esteem and social skills through a variety of organized enrichment activities and free play.
Our basic goals are:
- To provide a safe, caring, nurturing environment for children;
- To provide an environment where children are active learners, make choices, have responsibility for their actions and understand limits.
- To build a trusting relationship between parents, children, and staff where there is mutual respect and frequent communication.
- To provide an environment that fosters trust and honesty.

Family Prime Time

Times: 8:30 am - 1:30 pm (every day)
4:00 pm - 7:00 pm (Monday through Thursday only)
Ages: 3 months - 11 years

At the YMCA we recognize that the time families spend together is precious and that for some families, it is becoming harder and harder to find quality time and activities. The Casco Bay YMCA is proud to provide a program that will make it easy for families to enjoy the Y together. Our drop-off child-care allows parents to utilize our facility while giving children a place where “kids can be kids.”
Family Prime Time Special Activities
We will be offering a variety of activities and special events during morning Prime Time hours. Join us on these days for the following special events.

Kids Night Out

Parents, would you like to have a night off? Drop your child off at the Y and be sure that they are safe and having a great time! Kids will have dinner with their new friends and the evening will hold lots of exciting activities such as themed games, arts n’ crafts, and playing in the Prime Time room. Be sure to bring your child’s PJ’s so they are all ready for bed upon pick-up!
April Vacation Camp
Dates: April 19th – 23rd
Days: Monday through Friday
Time: 7:30 am – 5:30 pm
Ages: Grades K - 6
Fees: Members: $42 per day/$160 per week
Non- Members: $52 per day/$195 per week

Would your child like something fun to do over the vacation week? Our staff has a fun filled, action packed week filled with swimming, games, crafts, a field trip and outside fun! Come all 5 days or choose the days that best fit your schedule. Remember to bring weather appropriate clothes for playing outside as well as a bathing suit, sneakers, lunch and a snack!
