The YMCA builds strong kids, strong families, and strong communities.
We work to ensure that kids participating in our programs are interacting with peers and positive role models and are having fun while building their self-esteem and social skills through a variety of organized enrichment activities and free play.
Our basic goals are:
- To provide a safe, caring, nurturing environment for children;
- To provide an environment where children are active learners, make choices, have responsibility for their actions and understand limits.
- To build a trusting relationship between parents, children, and staff where there is mutual respect and frequent communication.

Family Prime Time

Our caring Prime Time staff will watch your child or children while you are at the Y. Prime Time offers areas for free play, reading, and coloring. Parents are welcome to stay and play with their children or take advantage of the Y's synchronized programming and participate in a class or wellness activity while your child is in Prime Time. There is a time limit per child, per day.
Saturday Prime Time

Ages: 3 months - 12 years

Middle School Madness Night
Date: Friday, October 21
Time: 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Ages: 6, 7 and 8th Graders only!
Fees: Pre-registration $7 for members, $9 for non-members, and $10 at the door for all.
You can sign up online or in-house.
Come to the Casco Bay Y for a night just for you! There will be swimming, games, pizza and more! Your parents can drop you off and pick you up, but no parents allowed to stay!! Hope to see you there!
Kids Night Out

Parents, would you like to have a night off? Drop your child off at the Y and be sure that they are safe and having a great time! Kids will have dinner with their new friends and the evening will hold lots of exciting activities such as swimming, games, arts ‘n’ crafts, and playing in the Prime Time room. Be sure to bring your child’s bathing suit, towel and PJ’s so they are all ready for bed upon pick-up! A minimum number of registrations may be required in order to hold this Program.
Valentine's Day Dinner and Swimming-Kids Night Out

Be our guest as we transform our Prime Time space into a restaurant just for kids and serve them a Valentine's Day dinner, followed by a swim in the pool. Be sure to make your reservations early as this restaurant does not take walk ins. Dressing up is encouraged. Please remember to pack a bathing suit, towel, goggles and pjs for your child so that they are ready for bed upon pick up.

The Y believes early childhood should be a time of fun, exploration and discovery. The purpose of our pre-school program is to promote and encourage social, emotional, physical and intellectual development in every child in an atmosphere of security and safety. Call for a meeting with our Pre-school coordinator or to schedule a classroom observation.

Make arrangements to have your kids spend their school vacation with the Y and its qualified and caring staff. We'll spend our days doing arts and crafts, sledding, playing games and more!!! We will be swimming daily and going on a special field trip. Campers should bring a bathing suit, towel, goggles, a lunch and two snacks. We will be going outside each day so campers will also need a warm jacket, snow pants, a hat, mittens and boots.
April Vacation Camp

Leaders Club

The Leaders Club is an opportunity for youth to develop positive life skills and leadership qualities through involvement in community service projects. The Leaders Club will serve to introduce the participants to excerise in democratic decision-making, assessing and understanding community needs, understanding cultural diversity and engaging in team building projects. The Leaders Club will meet weekly with a Peer Facilitator, Susan McNeil in the Y's Multi Purpose Room. Freeport and Yarmouth busses make a stop at the Y, if participants are interested in coming to the Y straight from school.
