The YMCA builds strong kids, strong families, and strong communities.
 
We work to ensure that kids participating in our programs are interacting with peers and positive role models and are having fun while building their self-esteem and social skills through a variety of organized enrichment activities and free play.
 
Our basic goals are:

  • To build a trusting relationship between parents, children, and staff where there is mutual respect and frequent communication.

Family Prime Time

              4:00 pm - 7:00 pm (Monday through Thursday only)

At the YMCA we recognize that the time families spend together is precious and that for some families, it is becoming harder and harder to find quality time and activities. The Casco Bay YMCA is proud to provide a program that will make it easy for families to enjoy the Y together. Our drop-off child-care allows parents to utilize our facility while giving children a place where “kids can be kids.”

Parents, would you like to have a night off? Drop your child off at the Y and be sure that they are safe and having a great time! Kids will have dinner with their new friends and the evening will hold lots of exciting activities such as themed games, arts n’ crafts, and playing in the Prime Time room. Be sure to bring your child’s PJ’s so they are all ready for bed upon pick-up!

Middle School Madness Night

This night is just for you, Middle Schoolers!  Come work out, play, swim, and hang out with your friends.  Bring your swimsuits and towels, sneakers, and active clothes as the building will be full of music and th pool, wellness center, and airnasium with climbing wall will be available just for your use.  Parents can plan to drop you off at 6:00 pm and pick you up by 8:30 pm - but sorry, Mom and Dad, no adults allowed!  Y staff and volunteers will be here to Chaperone.  More information is available at the Casco Bay Branch.  Please contact Dana Buckoski in Aquatics with specific questions.
