The Pineland Branch's Wellness Center offers fitness pursuit's balance through many facets of exercise. The facility prides itself in making exercise and the pursuit of better health, accessible to all levels whether it is free weight training or resistance programs using top of the line Cybex machines, or flexibility and balance conditioning tools like the BOSU, bands, and stability balls.
Our many Group Fitness classes are available seven days a week and you do not need to register for them. The Trainers and Instructors at the Greater Portland YMCA look forward to meeting all exercisers and helping them along their personal fitness path.

For Members
If you are a new member or just not sure how to use the equipment properly, then this is a good place to start. A fitness consultant will give you an overview of all the strength and cardio equipment, as well as go over the wellness center rules and policies. Just stop by the Wellness Center; no appointment is necessary.

Are you ready to commit to be fit? This program is designed for people new to exercise or coming back to exercise. Participants will meet with a wellness coach to discuss their fitness goals. Based on your feedback your coach will help you develop a fitness plan. After your initial consultation your next meeting with your coach will cover the wellness center orientation specific to your interests and needs. Your Coach will help keep you focused and motivated in order to help you achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Exercise Support Program (E.S.P)

Training for an event, stuck in an exercise rut, or just want someone to push you a little harder? Then get personal training! Weather you are looking to hit the weights with a certified trainer or focus on a fitness interest we have the trainer for you. We have trainers that specialize in the following: Running, Indoor Cycling, Yoga, Pilates, Strength Training, Cardio Conditioning, weight loss, and general fitness. A great way to fine tune your form and technique and to make your workouts more productive than they've ever been before.
