Active Older Adults

The YMCA Active Adults group provides regular wellness programs such as Aquasize, yoga, and seated T'ai Chi as well as regular social programs such as Cards and Coffee and other special events. In all our Active Adult programs, emphasis is placed on improving and positively influencing the quality of life for older adults by encouraging physical, mental, spiritual, and social well being.

Walk for Life

Join us for walks around Portland.  Get to know your city better!  Keep a journal of how far you walk each week.  It is easy to use the Map Your Walk website.  This site is fun and easy to use to determine your distance, learn a new route, or use an existing one.  Give it a try for a super way to keep yourself motivated and your walking/running journal filled out.
