Adult Sports

The Cumberland County YMCA works to provide adults with health, fitness and wellness programming designed to positively impact the overall health and wellness of people in our communities. Our programs are designed to attract people of all ages, all abilities, and all incomes. In addition to hosting seasonal sports leagues, we have squash and racquetball courts for member use.

Court Sports

The Greater Portland Branch is home to four courts for players of squash, handball, racquetball, and walleyball.

Court reservations are allowed up to two days in advance and are for Cumberland County YMCA Members only.  There are two Squash Courts (#1 and #2), one Handball/Racquetball Court (#3) and the Flex Court, which accommodates all court sports.  To purchase or rent equipment, please see the front desk.

The Portland Branch has a Fall/Winter Squash League.  Please call 207-874-1111 x 112 for more information.

Men's Basketball League

The Greater Portland Branch hosts a Men's Basketball league from October through December, on Monday and Thursday evenings.  The cost to register is $950 per team.  Please call us at 207-874-111 x 112 for more information.
