Childcare
The YMCA builds strong kids, strong families, and strong communities.
We work to ensure that kids participating in our programs are interacting with peers and positive role models and are having fun while building their self-esteem and social skills through a variety of organized enrichment activities and free play.
Our basic goals are:
- To provide a safe, caring, nurturing environment for children;
- To provide an environment where children are active learners, make choices, have responsibility for their actions and understand limits.
- To build a trusting relationship between parents, children, and staff where there is mutual respect and frequent communication.
- To provide an environment that fosters trust and honesty.
By choosing to send your children to programs at the YMCA, you are recognizing the importance of instilling the Y’s core character values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility in your children.
