Sports & Recreation

We believe sports, fun and exploring new interests aren’t just for the young. Along with improving health, whenever teamwork is involved, there’s the added benefit of being connected to others. That’s why you’ll find a range of recreational activities at the Y. With something to offer everyone, there’s no such thing as being too old to get in the game.

Week 1 Results

Class Acts 48

Muskrats 47

This game came down to the wire with a display of streaky shooting from both teams. Class Acts held on to a small lead throughout the first half with a balanced inside-outside attack. Vose had some baskets in the paint while Billings and Grigsby hit some three’s to sustain the lead. In the second half the Muskrats climbed back being down eight at one point to take the lead. Several big shots behind the arc from Foye, mixed with ball movement and dribble drive penetration kept the Muskrats in control until the final minutes. Class Acts had the last bucket and held on to the victory squeaking it out with a one point victory.
