Basketball Skills Session

Dates: February 29 - April 18, 2008
Day: Fridays
Time: 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. Ages: Grades 6 - 11
Fee: Members - FREE / Non-Members - $50

Improve your existing skills using various drills and cardiovascular training. Fitness aspect will be incorporated to begin preparing for next year's season. Registration required.

66th Annual Granville R. Lee Undergraduate Basketball Tournament

Dates: Begins March 1, 2008
Day: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Time: 3:30, 5:00, 6:30, 8:00 p.m.
Ages: Undergraduate High School (boys and girls)
Fee: $100/Team

We are proud to once again present this exciting undergrad basketball tournament, marking the 66th year running. The tournament has long been a great tradition here at the YMCA and has brought in teams from all over the State of Maine. The tournament is open to all undergraduate high school boys and girls and is an excellent opportunity for you to begin preparing for next season.

Time: Grades K - 1 @ 9:45 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Grades 2 - 3 @ 10:45 - 11:45 a.m.
Ages: Grades K - 3
Fee: Family Memberships - FREE / Youth Members - $20 / Non-Members - $40

Children learn basketball best by actually playing the game. Avoid long practices where your child stands in a line the whole time waiting to do drills. Get them playing the game and learning through experience.
