Skill Levels

Parent-Tot Age 6 months - 2 years w/ parent

This class is designed to be a family oriented class. It introduces children to water using songs and games. Classes focus on water adjustment and instruction for parent to assist their child and have fun.

Super-Tots Ages 2 - 3 1/2 years w/ parent

Super-tots class is designed for children who have no fear of the water and are comfortable with putting their face in the water. Super-tots prepare children to begin lessons without their parents.

Pike Ages 3 1/2 - 5, Level 1

This is a non-swimmer or a child who does not like to get their face wet. Bouyancy belts are used.

Eel Ages 3 1/2 - 5, Level 1

This class is for children who have had lessons before. They will work on moving away from flotation devices and show confidance with belt off for short time.

Aquakids Ages 4 - 6, Level 1

In this class children will not use floatation belts, they will learn to put their face in the water and paddle across the pool with little help.

Polliwog or Novice Ages 7 & up

For the older child who has never had lessons, may be hesitant of deep water. Focus is on water adjustment, beginner's strokes, floating, etc.

Guppy Ages 7 & up, Level 3

This child is ready to start doing laps and perfecting their strokes.

Minnow Ages 8 & up, Level 4

This child will start learning Sculling and Breaststroke kick, scissors kick, open turns on front and back, treading water and more.
